Colonie firm part of effort that uses Internet to defeat government censorship

TurnKey Internet was featured in the Business Section of the Albany Times Union today for its participation in Austin Heap’s proxy server program, helping Iranian citizens connect to social networks despite their government’s attempts to shut down the Internet in Iran. Heap’s network has allowed the Iranian people to organize protests, report on brutality to an international audience and garner support for their efforts worldwide.
